There was nothing on the home screen, no bubble/flag on the "Phone" app icon, nothing within the phone app under "voicemail" menu item at the bottom, etc. I was quite irritated yesterday when I realized, by chance, that I had received 8 voicemail messages over the past few weeks - messages that the phone did not tell me about. No indication of voicemails I am a longtime Android (Samsung Galaxy) user who a few weeks ago purchased an iPhone 12pro. After returning to the US, I had multiple voicemails come through that mentioned the dates I had been gone and checking the app on my phone. When it was on roaming, I checked frequently to see if there were voicemails but none showed up. It has been frustrating because I have missed voicemails sometimes for days - even missing voicemails requesting a job interview.Īlso, how long does it take for a voicemail to show up? I was traveling in Canada and had my phone on and off of roaming and airplane mode. Is there any way to turn a setting on so that I get the small red dot with a number in it on the phone icon if I ever have a voicemail? I won't have any indication of a voicemail until I open the app to make a call and there is a small notification within the app. If I miss a call when I have no service (which happens a lot living on an island), I get no notification of either a missed call or a voicemail. I have gone into my settings and turned all the different notifications on, but it hasn't helped. I have an iPhone 6s, and I don't get notifications for voicemails.
